Guest guest
Hi all! hope you all had a nice painfree christmas! Just a few days before christmas I had my first visit with a derm. He has about 200 pasients with Pa witch is quite alot for Oslo area. He's excpecially intrested in this deasease, and he has started a resurch on the connection between PA, and fibromyalgia. I had to answer a lot of questions, like if I have had any troubble with my sight at night, any infections/trouble with my ovaries(like cystes---spelling?)and other parts of this area (sorry, cant remember the english words, hope you all understand!), how often I went to urinate in 24 hours, and if I had problems with reflux. There were a few more questions, but more of a kind I would expect from a derm. He told me that he hoped to be able to " kill " the fibromyalgia- diagnoses, cause he (and others) mean that there is allways an other deasease behind fibromyalgia. Yes, the pain and problems are there, but in his opinion fibrom. is a part of another deasease, and not a diagnoses to just put everybody who dosent fitt in other deaseases. In other words, they all have a kind of reumatic illness. What do you all think?? Curios, Hege
Guest guest
Hege - I'm interesting in knowing why your derm. is asking about urinary habits in association with PA and/or fibro. My PA all flared up when I also had attack after attack of kidney stones. If your derm. has a theory on some connection between PA and the urinary system, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE keep me informed. Right now, my kidney stones are at rest, but I know I still have a big one in my left kidney. Strangely enough, the PA seems to be at rest as well. Weird that there would be a connection, but in my case, maybe there is?
Guest guest
-This would not surprise me as I have the PA but the rhuematologist said the fibromyalgia is first in her mind then the PA because the fibro HAS to get under control first. She said THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS SLEEP. Without that none of the meds will work at all. Hope you do better thank I have so far.
