Guest guest
Visited the skin doc yesterday. MTX, Folic Acid and Temovate out, Soriatane tabs (20 mgs per day)and Donovex in. Four months of MTX/Folic Acid treatment showed no noticeable improvement. What is even more interesting is the PA pains began about the same time as the MTX treatment. Isn't that med supposed to treat the PA also? It hasn't worked for me. I've been battling the psoriasis for about six years now with increasingly powerful meds. One of these days the right combination will present itself. My question - has anyone had experience with Soriatane and what were the results? While I'm aware that treatments/results vary with the individual, I would like to hear about your experience and side effects, if any. Many thanks for this site. You're all wonderful. By the way, just a comment concerning criticism of the medical profession in prescribing meds for psoriasis and arthritis. I know nothing about medicine, they are trained in the field. If I visit a doctor who has a practice in skin disorders then I'm aware and accept that the good doctor will be practicing on me. Hopefully, with the years of training and the process of elimination, the proper diagnosis will be reached and the right meds prescribed.
