I also recieved something around 2:30pm today Pacific Time. Came from "jennifer cogan" info@...

I have not joined another group or forum for ASD, HFA, or AS so I don't know how my email could have been obtained other than here. I have ordered from businesses selling related items, but I don't know that they sell their customers info (Linguisystems and Model Me Kids both recently).

Yes, I received this too. A line at the bottom of the msg referred to a "bulkmail"system, of sort. Someone, somehow harvested all our emails!

Hi ,

I'm not on any other group either. I received a very inappropriate e-mail from someone that's very active on this list. (about 3 months ago). I never said anything because I really don't believe this person sent it but I don't know how her name got on that e-mail. it had her name along with a long list of c/c names that are on this site. like I said she's not the type that would send that type of e-mail out. Hummmmm.

I've also received two other e-mails with the subject the same as this support group in my in box. I didn't recognize the names but opened it because it was from this group. the e-mail was inviting me to join their friends list.

Yes, I got the advertisement and was very annoyed. I responded to the company

letting them know that their information was unsolicited and inappropriate use

of this site.

I got one too and I also emailed them back and let them know I was unhappy at their harvesting from my list and sending me an unsolicited advertisement! What lazy creeps! I also wrote a complaint to about them on their spam form but not sure what becomes of that. Guess I will find out. I cannot find this person on our list or I'd boot them. They must be signed up under a different name. If anyone gets an idea on who it is, feel free to email me and I will track it down.
