Guest guest
I would love to get your jokes teri, I don't know why ppl would be in such an uproar about jokes. Laughter makes for a healthy person. In these trying times we need a little..Laughter. I have been on tx for 6 months. Doctor took me off Friday. As it seems I am a non responder to the treatment. I still have faith and I still love to laugh. I hope to start treatment on pegasys after 6 months off tx. My email is pdavey@... if you can send me the jokes. I love a good joke....Sometimes I got nothing else to cheer me up. Thanks again Pamela -- Your loss Fine I will quit sending the jokes, is a shame so many people are quitting over such pettiness. And I'm sure it's not just because of my jokes, I know if I wasn't invoved in this mess I would want to quit to just so I didn't have to hear all this Shit!!! I feel I did everything I could to make you happy , but guess you just can't make some people happy. Anyone who wants on a mailing list for the jokes just write me personally and will gladly pass them on to you. Now your so called info for hep (WHa Wha Wha ) is more like it AND FRANKLY SCARLET I DON'T GIVE A DAMN!!!!!!!!! It's your loss! Guest guest
Teri, Why don't you start your own group... something like " laughter is the best medicine " or whatever. It's easy to start a group, just follow the prompts on the " groups " page. I enjoy reading the jokes and share them with my husband. There are times when I'm looking for info and don't feel like reading jokes. At those times I just skip to the next message. I read the messages at the group so my mail box doesn't get flooded as I belong to many hep c groups. I would be happy to join if you were to start one. - -- In Hepatitis C , " Teri Covert " <covert@p...> wrote: > Fine I will quit sending the jokes, is a shame so many people are quitting over such pettiness. Guest guest
Hi Teri, I think it's a shame you feel you have to stop sending jokes. I thought the posts were supposed to be a mixture of what all the members want, not limited to what certain people want. There are a couple groups I decided not to join because all they did was whine about how terrible they felt. It's nice to be able to commiserate with someone, but it's also nice to be able to lighten up a little and not constantly think about your illness. Please email me anytime Teri. Take care, Doreen > Fine I will quit sending the jokes, is a shame so many people are quitting over such pettiness. Guest guest
First of all I did not ask to be removed because of your jokes, It has nothing to do with my reasons.. I wish you all the best of health and happiness in your lifes.. dont judge someones decision to be removed as if they were unhappy or assholes, somethings are better left un- said. This is not the program I was looking for or that is best for me. Your loss Fine I will quit sending the jokes, is a shame so many people are quitting over such pettiness. This is not the program I was looking for or that is best for me. Just a quick note, I didn't say everyone was against the jokes, I was just tired of fighting with them and trying to compromise, and getting nowhere. I had letters privately saying to please not stop, but I'm sure if I was a bystander at this group I would get sick of hearing it. So I wasn't judging anyone for leaving I just didn't want them to leave because they didn't want the jokes. Guest guest
Dear , That's a good idea and there was one other person who suggested it also . But for now I think I will just email them out to everyone. Wish I could figure out how to take just the addy out of my address book rather than type in the first couple letters, would be faster. Well I need to fly I have stuff in the dryer, need to take a shower and don't want to get tired I have a Dr. app. today and a bunch of running to do before I go. So Bye for now. Guest guest
, Roxanna and everyone else.... Yes, our losses are difficult. It takes a long long long time to heal. In a way we never totally heal. I lost Poppy 2 years ago and there are days I am so said and overwhelmed with loss. But it is getting easier. My dad passed away 16 years ago and I still miss him dearly but the wound has healed and I know he is home and safe with the Lord, our Father.
