Forwarded by Beverly Weikert, weikert004@.... This story was published at

IndyStar.com, http://www.indystar.com.

Thought this may be of interest. There was one incorrect part in the story.

Due to relocation to another home, Mr. MacGregor reported that our mold home was

in Jasper, IN. The mold home is in Dubois, IN; and we currently live is in

Jasper, IN. He has been contacted regarding the incorrect information.

Otherwise, it was overall accurate and a large article for this particular

newspaper. He did not go into as much detail as he could have on the more

complete testing of our home, since he was not able to contact the company in

time for the article. Maybe more info. in the next newspaper or TV report. It

is a step in the right direction toward awareness.

Dear Carl,

The issues you bring to the table, are why some of the

suits being won, are being won on property damages,

instead of medical. People need to know this, so that

they incorporate their medical expenses and losses in

the suit. Thank goodness that the rule still holds in

some states, " A Preponderance of the Evidence " to win

the case.

I have my reasons for believing a class action is the

only possible way to find justice for some victims.

The reasons being, the insurance carriers can fight

individuals all day and all night. Individuals suing

are not a collective voice, and the media coverage is

sporatic, if at all. There is an old saying don't sue

someone with more money than you. That someone is the

insurance company. They have all the money to fight

with and we gave it to them, amongst playing the stock

market with our funds.

So what we have to do is bind ourselves together to be

heard. Intimidation doesn't work well on groups.

Groups tend to get more publicity. Suddenly the cards

change and you know who they are, they don't know who

all of you are. A class action probably won't drag out

for years. A class action will probably settle sooner

out of court for a far greater amount.

The insurance companies will probably respect a class

action more and be more willing to settle it. How do I

know so much about it? I used to be a claim inspector.

Someone in my family is an owner of an insurance

company!

On the issue of scientific proof, it's like saying

there is no God because science can't find him. In all

our wisdom, we still aren't wise like we think we are.

Toxic Mold proves that on all accounts. What we do

have is the truth, and all and all it will win out. It

always does.
