Guest guest
Hi Sherri, I'm curious - why do you not take spirulina? Is there a problem with it? Re your son, I believe it is possible to do a homeopathic detox for specific pesticides/chemicals. If you are interested in finding out more, let me know and I'll contact my homeopath for some info. Guest guest
Hi Sheri, Thanks for all that info. I also gave up all caffeine, sodas, salads (occasionally will have a very small dinner salad), increased meat and vegetables to my diet. Still eat chocolate but very little. Still confused about bottle water and tap so drink both. Also still take vitamins but need to add minerals. I've been off meds for a little over a year and today was the first time my eyes bothered me for quite a while. I'm also convinced reducing stress is helpful too. Take care of yourself, Mona Me too Hi and Everyone again: I should have mentioned that I was also one of the first persons to be fortunate enough to be quided to 's first website, before he had ithyroid up and running. I have not needed any medication for several years now, I still take my vitamins and minerals, I still go in and read 's ithyroid website since he is always adding new material he has discovered. I try to watch what I eat and drink (at this time I am having our drinking water "from waterfall and river" tested for Mercury and Cadmium) Chocolate is really hard to stop, Coffee (1 strong latte in the morning) is hard to stop also. I am hoping to start drinking organic coffee and eating organic chocolate. Not that this would make a difference. I no longer eat spinach salads, as a matter of fact very few salads. I do not eat soy products anymore. I do not use Spirolina. I am back to eating meat and potatoes and vegetables (I try to make sure they are not genetically engineered). I do not drink bottled water. Since our domestic water comes out of the lake (chlorinated) we get our water from the mountain waterfall and from the river. I also, do not post unless I have something to say, but I read every e-mail that is on the board everyday. Sheri

I ask you because you say it is junk mail and also you are a state co- ordinator of NPTA. Thanks in advance, Jeanetta > Hi , > > Yeah, I got that email too regarding webservice. Guest guest
I had to have revision surgery last year. It turned into 2 surgeries 5 days apart. First from the front and side, adding a fusion to my sacrum, then the 2nd was through my back, fixing the broken things, etc. It's now 1.5 years later and I'm in constant pain in my right hip, where the long iliac screw goes through my iliac nerve. I just visited my first surgeon, not the one who did my revision surgery, and he says everything is as it should be. Only problem being that screw going through my nerve. I guess it was put there because otherwise it would have protruded out my back due to my thin frame. I can get the screw removed after 2 years, which I've been looking forward to thinking this pain will finally be gone, but he informs me I might have this pain forever. And I might not. I try to think about the pro side of it, but the possiblity of having this pain forever is really scary. I've had pains I can deal with through much of my life, and then there are those that I can't deal with, and this is one of those. I asked him why then was it done, that extra fusion and he asked me what was going on prior to the surgery. I told him I'd been having pain in my right side that made my shin throb. He said that was probably an indication that the disc was worn down. He asked me which pain was worse that one or this one. All I know is I wasn't taking pain meds before, until the rods broke that is, but now I can't go without. So. I am so sick of living with pain. For a year and a half I had almost no pain. Then the pain in my right side started, probably because one rod had broken without me knowing, then the other rod broke and I was in pain again. I thought the surgery would make me as good as after the other big surgery, but so far no such luck. So the moral of this story is, you just never know. We're all different and it's a toss up. We can do everything in our power to help our surgeries go well and exercise, stay in shape and in good health. But then it's our of our hands. Oh yea, I also ended up catching Hep C during one of my many procedures. So now my liver is probably being damaged from the meds I take. ________________________________ From: Louis Brunoforte <lbrunoforte@...> Scoliosis Treatment Sent: Thursday, June 25, 2009 2:54:10 PM Subject: Re: Re: Me Too I just had revision surgery done.
