Hi Joan, Thanks for letting me know that this pad didn't work as good as I thought it might. It seemed like a good idea. Now I want waste my money to get one. The brand you mentioned is the exact one I was talking about. Let me bounce another idea on you. What about the long strip that goes in front of the keyboard? Do you think that might work if I use it to rest my arm and half of the palm of my hand on it? Atleast it would have my wrist on a flat surface with my fingers able to work the mouse and my wrist would not be bent so much and it would be a soft surface. I'm trying anything that will show a possibility of working. I've even thought about buying a gel shoe insert or just the heel part because it is thinner and trying that to rest my wrist on while I write. Anyone think this might by chance be a solution. I'm having alot of trouble with my right hand and see a surgeon the last week of this month for the initial visit as referred by the orthopedist. I need something soft but supportive. I can't write with the splint on. The problem is getting worse while I wait to get it corrected and can't get anymore injections to the wrist. It hurts to have my wrist sitting flat on a hard surface like the desk. Anyone with any ideas just jump right in and speak up. Thanks Cassie
