Guest guest
Hi , read this from you: >So I just say go for it! I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but >I don't think exercise will normally do you any long-term harm (within >reason - I don't suggest you try running any marathons!) even if it makes >you feel awful afterwards - the buzz through actually being active should >make up for that. Maybe we're a bit alike. I'm 27 and have very mild PA. My partner works for a company which every year has a day out. Partners invited. Last year we spent the whole day mountainbiking. That went well luckily, since I do work out, I did better than many others. I found out though that if I go over the top, exercise can do more than just short term harm. I helped friends out in their garden, carrying sand all day. Well, my elbow thought that was too much and started to swell. It stayed that way for 2 years and is rather normal now after 2 prednison-shots. In the fittness centre, I keep the weights low enough so nothing hurts (or just a little). Docters dont agree on that. If your pain-level is high, you can do many things. But is it good? I experienced it is not. At first when my toes started to swell, I still did aerobics, but that made things worse. So now I stopped jumping and running. Too bad, but I can still do inline-skating (if not too long). Take care, Eliane Btw, that shampoo and aspirin stuff sounds great. Gonna try that. Regular aspirin? The one we are not allowed to swallow when on mtx? 30 aspirins, 750ml shampoo? Eliane
