Priti,

Am keeping your son in my prayers, I know it is very scary time for you, but it

will work out fine for your son, I don't remember where he is having the

surgery? We are all here and can hardly wait to hear how the surgery goes!!!

The surgery changed my life, made everything almost normal now after suffering

for many, many years.  I am so glad that he will get better.  Follow all the

doctors orders, make sure to do it the right way.

Yes , I do remember you well and you telling me this and giving me great

suggestions.  Kind of scared but I am sure things will work out for the better.

Thanks for being there and thinking of us and praying for him.

Hi Priti,

My surgery was scheduled for the early morning.  The days before surgery it was

a clear liquid diet.  I could have broth, juice (only apple, nothing red

colored), water.  The pre-surgery check up was blood work and ekg.  Cannot

remember if fasting was requied or not.  Wishing your son all the best, he will

do great!!!

Subject: pre-surgery checkup

Can anyone please let me know what this pre-surgery checkup/test should cover? I

was told only about blood test, forgot to ask if it needs to be a fasting one or

not. I will call them back tomorrow. As the surgery day is coming closer for my

son, starting to get a little nervous. Surgery is scheduled for July 11th. May

God bless him.

He needs to be on liquid diet 2 days before and on clear liquid 1 day before the

surgery. Clear liquids will be chicken broth, jello, Gatorade. What can he take

for the liquid day?

Thanks everyone for being there for us through this rough times.

One thing I remembered last night to bring to the hospital, if you have one of

the neck rolls that you bring on the plane to sleep. It helped me so much when i

is sitting up in the chair and I fell asleep. It will help him stay straight up.

I still use mine with my wedge pillow after my surgery. I can't live without it.

His life will change overnight..and it is soooo good.

Blessings

SO CAL
