Hi,

I have found that when my dd is being over-stim. or is in a situation that

she would rather not be, the OCD is at its highest. It makes since when

you think about it........ " I can't controll this situation, that I really

don't like,,,,,so, let me create one that I can control " .......They say OCD

is all about control!

My dd is 12 now, but something that worked in the past and still does when

needed; When I think a situation could arise that would over stim. or just

be something she would rather not be a part of, we would talk about it

before hand and bring something that she could control and that would ease

her anxieties.

Sincere Regards,

Kathy
