Guest guest
Dear All, I want to thank everyone who has written me, esp. Cheryl and the Michigan folks! I now have 3 doctor referrals and tons of support! I am so glad I joined this list, and appreciate the info and support. It is amazing that we MI folks, with deer in our backyards, live in a State that nearly denies the existance of lyme, leaving so many without proper diagnosis and treatment. Lists as these are a godsend and I am so grateful to Cheryl for referring me. Take care, Christie tab@... ICQ# 24506195

You will be ready just like my dad was when I drove. In fact before I got an instructor he taught me for a bit. I enjoy driving getting to where I need to go and seeing where I have been. I enjoy being on the road with others. It is a form of freedom one cannot imagine and driving to me is sharing the same common bond with others which is totally awesome. I hope Caleb enjoys driving and the best of luck to him. Helen
Guest guest
Hi Camilla, I was thrilled to read about your book being published. But, like Lee, I would love to read it in English. I was trained as a professional translator. And my expert opinion is that your English is more than adequate for you to translate your book into English! I am sure you could then find somebody on this list to proofread it, somebody who is a native speaker of English. looking forward to reading your book, Taya from Finland Thank you all! Thank you very much for your congratulations! Imagine what happened today: A reporter from a local newspaper called, she will write an article about me. (Tough lady in a chair, good humoured, hard working,... blah, ... ;-) ) I told her about the prize and the cookbook I wrote. She was thrilled and said she will help me finding a publishing house for this. LIVE IS GOOD! @ Lee - *lol* Please, do not ask me for a translation! My english is good enough to save me from dying of starvation when visiting the country but for a translation job I am not good enough. Have a nice day, Camilla
Guest guest
Hi Camilla! That’s sounds great! Wish you success! Well, I think your English is pretty good… Anyway, it seems we’ll miss the story until someone else translate it :-( What kind of meal is you cook about? Happy weekend! Guest guest
Hi , I just wanted to say that I'm glad your operation turn out ok :-) I had a Hip operation and a knee operation both on the right side My Hip operation was a pain I had bad scar tissues and my Dr wouldn't do anything about it I think if I just had my knee done I be doing a lot better :-) Well I wish you a speedy recovery :-) Have a nice day:-) Susie <electrickook@...> wrote: Hi, I wanted to thank this group so much for the mountain ofknowledge, compassion and good humor I was able to access while I wasgetting ready for my left TKR. I had some good experiences and some bad in the hospital and in acuterehab. My surgery was done one month ago tomorrow. Today I drove for thefirst time (only painkillers are Excedrins). I've been conditionallycleared to return to my job on February 1. Today as I was walking across the living room (unaided by anything) Irealized that the pain in my knee is already considerably less than itwas for the last three years before surgery. Almost had to sit downand cry about that, it is so unbelievable. I still have a long way togo in regaining muscle, flexibility and stamina but I finally think Imade the right decision in opting for a new knee. Thanks again, you've been terrific! in NY

Guest guest
Good for you and it will keep getting better. Isn't it wonderful to be rid of that nagging pain from before? Guest guest
I know I don't post often in here, but I want to first say thank you to all of you. I know that we all feel alone at times with everything we have to deal with to do the best for our kids. Knowing that I can come to this board and there will be people here that DO understand, and aren't just going to patronize me and pat me on the head makes it so much easier for me at times. Second, I want to thank all of you for helping with the research paper I wrote for the class I just completed. I finally got a grade back on it, and got an A! Lost points since I " wasn't objective enough " about the subject, but I can handle that! I know someone told me they might be interested in reading it after it was done. If any of you would like to read it, let me know and I'll send it to you. Thanks, from our house to yours. All of you are what makes it possible for us to get through some of our rougher days. Guest guest
Mitch, I just wanted to say good luck tomorrow, I will be thinking about you and your family. Your posts are always so thoughtful and positive, minus this one. You can really tell just how much you love Bryce.
