I had to call the bank up because they don't have one in NY. what I like the best about this card is - as long as you have your account number - if lost or stollen it's secure.

you can keep adding money to your account and if you don't have an U.S. Bank account and use a debit card from a seperate bank to place money into this account - they only charge you a $2.00 fee.

anyone have any ideas on how to teach a 15 year old how to keep tract of his money / and not lose it.I tried a man bag that goes around the neck/shoulder. when it gets in his way at his activity he will take it off and lose it. when going out with his group - he will forget it in the car then can't get lunch or snacks when the others do.I tried to get a debit card but in NY he can't have one until he's 18.not all stores will take gift cards.I'm going to try the wrist sweat money band (travel-money wrist band) but again it might get in the way and he'll lose it when he takes it off.what ideas have you tried to teach responsible with money? also, if he see's money on the floor he doesn't think to pick it up.thanks
