Hello my name is holly. My son is chance. He just turned 7.He has mitochondral and

metoblic disease.Neropathy in his hands and feet.Seizures....and well he also

had a stroke in utero.I have had him in for pyhc evals 4 times.I have been

relizing stuff sincxe he was about 5 years old.He has this drive to do things

even after i say it is not safe.He loves sharp object..sticks any thing with a

point. He has a memory that is amazing and a temper to match. He is so

emotional. He will get fixed on one thing for days over and over.Today i said

maybe he might be able to play his game ps1,i couldnt find him when i walked in

the bedroom he had it turned on no game and when i shut it off he dropped to the

floor was pulling his hair very hard and biting and digging his nales in his

arm.He gets this look in his eyes that is almost scary. At there evals they say

he has alot of the marks to have autisium but he is to social......the more i

look at aspergers most pppl and children seem to be very social. He gets over

stimulated easy, the doctors at the last eval said that i should not take him

shopin or where there is alot of ppl she tested him in public and seen a noted

diff in him.Hid verbal skills are good however he uses word replacemeny alot.and

he often gets upset and smacks himself while talking and if you leave him to sit

idle he has strange head movement and his tounge always seems to be involved. He

is still not compleatly potty trained mostly at night.

Have any of you family had this issue?I am new to the group, and will start

praying for you all!
