Guest guest
Hi llene Well to my knowledge I am not allergic to anything. Twenty years ago they did the skin test allergy test, only thing that reacted was the pen they used to mark off the arm area! However if a drug has a side effect, but your bottom dollar I will succumb. I was one of the first patients to try Arthrotec here, which is another form of Voltarol. I found 75mgs of Voltarol slow release helped with the morning stiffness. Anyway Arthrotec hit the scene as they say, is the same as Voltarol except it is coated to STOP stomach problems. My GP gave me his free Arthrotec asked me to try them, which I did! I returned a few weeks later as I was passing large amounts of mucus in my stools. My GP said, " That is typical of YOU, the Arthrotec is coated to STOP that, yet it has had the opposite affect on you! " The majority of Rheumys have not been keen to recommend any Pharmaceutical Intervention for me, so I am on Evening Primrose Oil, a natural anti inflammatory. Yes I thought 'snake oil' but now, well lets just say I have never looked back. Love and God Bless Gillian
