That is awesome!!! Please keep me posted...my son just turned 9 and have been

considering getting him one. He likes to hide under tables, chairs, in a

sleeping bag, etc. I was hoping this might help him feel more comfortable!!

Can't wait to hear how it keeps going. Thanks for letting us know!

I just wanted to let others in on what happened to us today. Some might findthis helpful information. My 9yo son was first diagnosed ADHD, then re-diagnosedby the same psychiatrist later with Aspergers. The ADHD symptoms are so severethat we must send him to the toilet w/ a timer if we want him to remember tocome out on his own.He is smart, but getting him to focus on things that aren't shiny and don't spincan be a challenge! Our weighted vest came in the mail yesterday and we tried it today. I'm inshock! It has literally taken him an hour to complete four 3-digitmultiplication problems before, but today he sat and completed 4 rows of 6problems in about 45 min! I hope this is not a fluke!

I've always thought this could work for my son but I never think about it at the right time. I bet he'd be able to focus better during his homework time, too. Thanks for the reminder!

If you go to www.weightedvest.com, you'll see the one we bought. If I had the

extra time I could probably have made one myself for a much cheaper price,

though!

No problem ,

I want to tell you that I was cautioned about overuse though, that it would

become less effective if used too much. My son felt so good about his

accomplishment today that he wanted to keep the vest on. I explained to him that

we would only be using it during math for that reason. (we homeschool)
