Guest guest
We are in our third week of parent social skill training. I would recommend the training program of RTI. The main skills that there are teaching are dynamic social skills. They said that AS kids do well with social rules, scripts and questioning but lack the skills to adapt to changes and surprises so that they can be good employees and socialize. These are dynamic social skills they are teaching us to model: alternative thinking, critical analysis, good enough thinking, fuzzy logic, what if thinking, reflection, collobrate, co-create, empathize, perspective taking, regulation and repair, goal setting and planning. Everything is done in very small steps and throughout the day. Pam
