We increased my son's Concerta dose, and it backfired. His noise sensitivity,

touch sensitivity, and over-reactions have gone THROUGH THE ROOF! He is

miserable, everyone in the house is miserable, and instead of helping him focus

at school the increased dose has made school absolutely unbearable for him! He's

constantly slamming his hands over his ears, screeching in irritation, and

twitching like mad from his clothing touching him. He has been on Concerta for

years, and not had anything near this bad before when we've changed doses, so I

think it's just TOO much, and pubertu is also messing with his body chemistry.

So I need to know: What meds have others had good experiences with in kids who

used to have good results with Concerta? Please email me directly with your

answers.
