None seem to bother me and I never heard of what you are saying before. My primary Dr., endocrinologist, rheumy, etc. know I take NSAIDS and never said a work about it with the sythroid. Also on antibiotic treatment...been there, done that...against my DRs wishes and all I got for my trouble for taking mynocyline for about year was a very nasty yeast infection and an upset stomach. Never helped the PA at all. When I mentioned the http://www.roadback.org to quote my rheumy " They're a bunch of quacks. " She's very nice and I was very surprised she was that dogmatic about it. Heck...she thinks the fact I do scifi conventions in costume is " cool. " She tried that therapy on many patients with PA and RA over the last five years and so no improvement with any or them. Just started on Ebrel...oh man! Huge difference!!!! My knees don't hurt and my thumb and shoulder stopped hurting. :-D Smile, Becky
Guest guest
I have taken synthroid for 13 years. My doctor has never hesitated to try medications for PA on top of that medication. I currently take Vioxx, but have also taken prednisone with good results. Ks Di [ ] Question... > I recently went to my PCP for my lab results visit. She informed my that I > have hypothyroidism. Guest guest
Hi , I take Synthroid and Bextra without any trouble...you just have to make sure not to take any medication within 3 hours after taking your Synthroid...

Guest guest
I can't imagine why your doc recommended that. I've been taking LevoThryroxine for hypothyroidism for at least 10 years. I have also taken many pain meds in the NSAID area, VIOOX, naproxine, etc. with no thryoid problems. I've also had narcotic pain meds when my flares get into gear....So, not being an MD or DO, but one who reads lots of things about my conditions, I can not think of any reason she would be so hysterical about synthroid and nsaids....Sylvia CND110370@... wrote:I recently went to my PCP for my lab results visit. Guest guest
Janet, , Ks Di, Sylvia, et al, Please be sure to use the link I sent about Synthroid or go to Synthroid.com and read the prescribing information. Guest guest
Really? I take a handfull of medication each morning, including synthroid. Why is it to be taken alone? Ks Di

Guest guest
How many of you, when going through the diagnostic testing, or years of suspicions, etc… have come to discover that your spouse, or yourself may have Aspergers Syndrome also? Did any of you go on to do formal testing for yourselves or a spouse as the result of helping your children? =)
Guest guest
once i figured out that my daughter had aspergers, it was like i was given special glasses thru which i could easily recognize these behaviours in others. which include my husband, his brother, and 2 of our nephews. there also appears to be shadow symptoms in his mother. regards, melody > > How many of you, when going through the diagnostic testing, or years of > suspicions, etc. have come to discover that your spouse, or yourself may > have Aspergers Syndrome also? Guest guest
My husband has told me that he suspects that he has Aspergers now and as a child. And "he turned out just fine." My husband has been very against getting our daughter diagnosed and me on the other hand has done lots of research and read books on Aspergers'.I just suspect my 9yr old daughter is an Aspie but she hasn't been diagnosed as of yet. in NV From: O'Brien <nicole.obrien@...> Sent: Sunday, July 12, 2009 8:26:03 AMSubject: ( ) Question...
