Hi,Has somebody run into this problem? my daughter's primary doctor does not have the mental health records and other records. After I filled out Mass Health application for my girl I was surprised by a Mass health call requesting my girl mental records. Luckily I have gotten all her medical records and I could provided MassHealth with a copy of them. There is not too much communication between doctors office, it make it harder to get a diagnosis. The primary doctor did not know she has aspergers, and she was questioned it....I have requested all my doctor medical records to make sure I understand and they understand me.When you request those records you have an idea of the doctor opinion about you and you child. If you ever have been interviewed by the Dept of Youth, you should request your records. I have my records from each agency now. ( ) Re: Fitting in... at what cost do we notThere is such a range of behaviors as with any disorder or illness. I have a behavior plan in place some behaviors I can shape. Somebehaviors she still doesn't cooperate with. For some reason some people can't accept that they needany help and refuse treatment. My daughter is one of those kids.I am the parent and I want her to get treatment so I have a behavioral plan in place to gain cooperation. I can only hope that eventually she will see the value in healthy habits and treatments and not resent it so much.I hope that there is a way to shape a more positive outlook on healthy habits and treatments. This is whatsome of us have to deal with.Pam > > >> >> > >> >> > >> > I'm just wondering what people's perspectives are on the issue of> > >> > 'fitting in'.
