Guest guest
I have a new understanding of the pirate thing on parenthood now lol. Dds field trip on friday was to the museum, where they have a temp exhibit that is pirates right now. And as I was ironing the bandana my thought was, they obviously didn't show the full obsession of the pirates on the show b/c it never showed him cutting up clothes or mom having to iron the bandana b/c it was wrinkled. Hmm...wonder if this will boot the pokemon obsession? Of course that's like when origami did but eventually pokemon returned, they always do <sigh> -- Sent from my mobile device -mommy to Emma, Becca, , and Girl Scout cookies are coming! Guest guest
For us it was vacuums around the age of 2. Then it gradually turned to k'nex and trains, now it's Lego's and planes. He builds planes constantly and crashes them, over and over and over. He watches videos on YouTube that have lego planes in them and he reenacts them. Sure scares ya when a plane crashes next to you without warning! Guest guest
Yeah we have gone through legos more than once too, it seems she will go through every thing more than once, over the last few years though this only the 2nd time she has done something other than legos, origami, or pokemon. The other was the movie bridge to terabithia. We have an acre of land and half that is still wooded and abbuts our neighbors on both sides for many neighbors acres and she turned ours into terabithia. Usually her obsession ends with a short time trying something of another kind before moving on, things like businesses (pet sitting, lemonade stands, etc), or clubs, or something that requires a lot of planning all the way done to rules, prices, logos, you name it. Usually he has two at a time but just one right now. > > > From: Durocher <funwith4@...> > Subject: ( ) Pirates > > Date: Saturday, March 27, 2010, 4:20 PM > > > Â > > > > I have a new understanding of the pirate thing on parenthood now lol. > Dds field trip on friday was to the museum, where they have a temp > exhibit that is pirates right now.
