A few questions

I am new to the group and am hoping to answer a few questions for

myself and my son. I have a 2 year-old who has been doing SCD (GAPS)

since December. I also am attempting to do it for myself. So...here

are my questions at the moment:

1) We are in need of some ideas for fermented foods that are easily

tolerated. My son does not yet digest raw vegetables, nor is he

currently tolerating dairy or goat's milk yogurts. Really, I need to

try my hand at something that he tolerates and is pre-cooked before

the fermentation process. Any ideas? I do need to order the Body

Ecology book because I've heard it also has some good suggestions in

it.

2) Does anyone use raw dairy and what is your perspective/experience

on whether it truly needs to be fermented for 24 hours in order to

rid it of lactose?

3) Probiotics! We are in a probiotic slump and I would be very

grateful for any suggestions for fos-free, dairy-free supplements

that anyone might know of. We know of a few, but drastically need to

vary our strains a bit!
