My DD is the same way and she is 11 also. We started a marble system. She earns

marbles for showering brushing teeth and hair and that kind of thing. She earns

little rewards or filling jar past lines we drew. She fills the jar 3 times she

gets a cell phone.

Example she gets 4 marbles for shower but if she argues or if I have to keep on

her marbled go down and she may only get 1 or 2.

Just wait a few years until he get interested in girls. Then he will start

taking care of himself. He will change his clothes and take showers everyday, he

might even want to wear colon to smell good. I think that this is just a phase

that will be over soon. Hang in there!
