Spinach - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Oxalates bind to iron to form ferrous oxalate and remove iron from the body.

Therefore, a diet high in oxalate (or phosphate or phytate) leads to a decrease

in iron absorption.

Re: HELP! Why is he on these?

A couple more questions:

What are oxylates?

What is the amount of zinc and vitamin A your son takes?

Should the CoQ10 be taken with the fatty meal? Or is once in the

morning and once at night OK?

My son is GFCF. And is also taking calcium and magnesium. I know

what those are for. Yeah Me! He is also on the Ketogenic Diet for

his seizures. It is a very fatty diet, that is why I asked about the

CoQ10.

Thanks for your help.
