Guest guest
It seems no matter what we have done, our son continues to breathe heavily out of his mouth, almost like hyperventilating. Has anyone else dealt with this, and what have you done to help eliminate it? We have been aggressively treating yeast, which I assumed it was, but now I am not sure. Thanks. Guest guest
My son had huge tonsils and adenoids. He actually had surgery to remove them and his mouth breathing problem went away. Actually, he got sick a lot less after he had that surgery. I think the large tonsels and aednoids caused him to harbor germs and allergins there and made it easier to get sick. It also gets in the way of their breathing. Does your child snore a lot? It's not healthy to breathe from the mouth, so you are right to try to correct this if you can figure out why.
