Guest guest
This is a comment to the member asking if anyone heard on the news that jaundice is related to ASD's. Again, they are grasping at straws. My firstborn NT daughter was so severely jaundiced she was hospitalized for three days and then was sent home with a visiting nurse under lights for four more days. She is sixteen and there have been no adverse effects. My Aspie daughter was also jaundiced at birth but very slightly and the bilirubin levels came down within hours. So how do you explain how one kid with severe jaundice came out NT and the other with somewhat elevated levels turned out ASD? Don't believe everything you hear, particularly on the news. Research is the key - More money must be poured into research on all levels for kids with ASD instead of coming up with off the wall explanations like this and also innoculations being the cause.
