To all the parents who have children with bad tempers, outburst

My son is now 19, he is on a medication called Geodon 60mg he takes two at bedtime. He is over weight so his dosage is larger than it may have to be for your child. Anyway, he has always had a bad temper, and also would be quick to hit me or other children. This medication has really helped him to control his temper.He was real depressed and unhappy too, he takes Prozac 20 mg at bedtime and his depression has gotten so much better. Life was not so good before he took these meds. I just want to tell the parents that are holding back from giving their children meds that we were there once too, but our son is doing so much better with the meds that we are happy with our decision and so is our son. You have to think do they have a good quality of life without it. And think of yourself also.For those of you

who has children with stomach pain or gut pain my son is taking Bentyl 20mg twice a day for that and it has helped him more than Nexium or any other meds. So good luck and I hope things will get better for you. He also takes Vistaril to help him sleep at night. I hope this has helped some of you parents, don't give up, it's a long, hard road but things will get better. pj
