UHC has covered all our " alternative " testing. Wish I had a magic bullet answer

for you, but it simply may have to do with the details of your particular policy

:-( The only test they didn't cover is IgG food allergy. I have heard that if

you have an autism diagnosis, you can request a UHC case manager for your child,

and suddenly many things which have never been covered begin getting covered.

It depends on your employer and their contract with the insurance

company. 10 people here could have UHC and there would be ten different

contracts and ten different sets of coverage. What state you live in

also plays a part. Read your policy.

We have United health care. They've paid for the tests in the past for us. What

is the issue? They've changed the way the script needs to be written. Are you

doing it thru Great Plains Lab? If you give me a little more info I'll try to

help.
