Guest guest
Hi ... I have similar questions. I do believe in an autism/vaccine issue, which is why my son was not vaccinated. He is not on what is generally regarded as the spectrum, but has severe SPD and developmental delays. He is doing good with biomedical and fully mainstreamed in Kindi but still has his issues and delays. I wonder if he would be more severe and fully on the spectrum if he was vaccinated. I wonder about the Vit K shot he was given, the meds I was on to prevent another m/c, and the meds I was given to stop labor when my water broke at 34w5d with a breech baby. So many questions. I am glad vaccination are getting attention but I know there is more at play and hope that all avenues are looked at. When others find out my kids are not vaccinated they sometimes mention it must not really be the vaccinations causing the issues. I am usually quick to say I believe he would be much worse off had he been vaccinated. denice > From: porschaine94580 <porschaine@...> > Subject: Re: Breaking News > > Date: Thursday, December 4, 2008, 10:43 AM .... Guest guest
OMG, I just remembered that I got a shot to prevent going into pre-term labor. And epidural that I got at the last minute during labor... No wonder I wound up with food allergies after I had my DS. And what about those that are induced? I heard IV salines have " bad " stuff in it too. It's endless! On Thu, Dec 4, 2008 at 9:39 PM, Denice <dkdirks@...> wrote: > Hi ... > > I have similar questions. Guest guest
My son is also unvaxed and I also believe that if he were vaxed he's be completely autistic. My son was born predisposed, and I consider him to be mildly on the spectrum. When he was evaluated at 3 I think he should have been diagnosed PDD (not because I want this, of course, but because it would have been accurate). Instead we got a pat on the head and told, " well, he isn't autistic " . He also wasn't speaking, had no understanding of anything we said, avoided social contact and didn't look at us. Oh, and he had sensory issues, slept terribly, and had lost all his speech around 18 months. He spent the time during the evaluation laying on the floor and running his hands through a pile of toy cars or watching their wheels spin. He fits as standalone hyperlexia very well. He is now nearly recovered thanks to biomed. I used to work with autistic kids before I had my own and am 100% convinced that vaccines are a major piece of the puzzle (this is why I wouldn't vax). I think my son's experience supports this idea more than refutes it. He is predisposed- undermethylates, has pyrroluria and histadelia. Autoimmune disorders throughout the family on both sides. I chose not to vax because I had a strong sense that my kids would react badly. I still think that both would be completely autistic had we vaxed. As it is, they still have very high mercury levels. Vaccines aren't the only source for this. Also, I have the HHV-6 virus and have neurological complications from it, and ds is doing fantastic on antivirals. The virus is definitely a big part of what's going on with him. And, to answer questions, both of my kids were born at home so I know they weren't vaxed. No vitamin K injections. For my spectrumy son, no shots or meds at all during pregnancy, born at home, exclusively breastfed for the first 6 months and then selective healthy food (he showed no signs at all of food sensitivities before 12 months, now if he gets a molecule of gluten or casein he is a wreck). Filtered water, no antibiotics or any meds (later, after his regression and he began recovering, he was exposed to a massive amount of thimerosal in some prescription eardrops). We lived very close to a transformer station where he was born and lived until about the time he regressed and I've always wondered about that. -Sierra > > > From: porschaine94580 <porschaine@...> > > Subject: Re: Breaking News > > > > Date: Thursday, December 4, 2008, 10:43 AM > > > ...
