heterotrophic bacter ia and counts

Hi everyone!

I am still researching this horrendously sick building and have

received some lab test results for water samples taken from the

cooling tower (airconditioner). These results have absolutely

astounded me!!!

no. 1 the aircon system had was infected with legionella bacteria

continuously since 1998

no. 2 the aircon system was heavily infected with other bacteria

since 1998 - continuously

no. one of the major water test readings taken during 1999 during the

initial breakout of our major sicknesses was....are you ready for

this....1,000,000/ml with spreaders present. The lab has advised me

the bacteria were growing soooooooooo fast they could not identify

them!

Can any one give me any indication please on what bacteria may be

present in a platelet count taken from an aircon tower? I need this

info really urgently!!!

I have also received info under FOI that the 5 split system aircon

units placed in the ceiling of the office have NEVER been serviced.

They have drip condensation pans that have never been emptied. These

drip condensation pans have also overflowed on many occasions and

subsequent water damage and fowling has never been remediated!!!

Furthermore, the filters have NEVER been changed in 3.5 years of

service!!!! The filters are black.

These 5 splits systems have never been serviced, because when the

service company prepared the service report forms for the mechanics,

guess what they did???ZZZ!!! The report forms for the split systems

were reversed - ie they instructed the mechanics to check filters on

the roof top part of the system - guess what - this part of the

system does not contain the filter, it is the ceiling part of the

system that contains the filter. Therefore, the mechanic has marked

the form n/a and not even bothered to check to filter in the ceiling

even though they must have known it was there!!!! How negligent,

culpable and stupid is that!!!ZZZ???????

Can someone please advise on the bacteria asap - I will let you know

how we go now - I think we have enough info to close this place down,

including the aircon contractor!!!
