I'm making this a broad question

in trying to figure out when you would preview a topic to a child in

the classroom or when you would pre-teach. I've been told that if you

put it in your IEP to pre-teach areas of difficulty then you could be

setting up your child to lose valuable time in a potentially lengthy

pull out to pre-teach. So, I've been told that the  a preview is

another option. My concern there is that I imagine a preview could end

up being that my son gets a copy of a handout before everyone else gets

it. How do you determine when either option is appropriate? Thanks
