Guest guest
PatB Asks: 1. How difficult is it to get the doctor to give you a cortizone shot in a joint? Not difficult for me. Had it done twice, once each in my right knee and right shoulder. Just had the shoulder done last week, as a matter of fact. Feeling groovy, now! 2. Does he have to have you get an MRI first so he can tell where to give you the shot? Is it a blind stab and hope for the best? Mine didn't. I' hope that his wealth of experience lead him down the right path :-) My injection was primarily in response to the obnoxious tendonitis I've been having lately. Maybe in my situation he can blindly stab away and it'll be OK. When he did it, he sure dug around and seemed to be looking for the " right " spot. I know, I'm so scientific about it.
