Introducing myself

Hi Everyone,

I'm a 37 year old female with PA. Have had the A part since I was

about 14 and the P came about 3 years later.I've tried most of the

comon meds - MTX, Lodine, etc.. The MTX didn't work for me because of

the supression of my imune system. I had been on it about a month and

went out into my garden ( which I love). Well, I came in contact with

Poison Ivy and by the next day I was covered with the itchy stuff -

even in my mouth and eyes. My doctors reply after he medicated me was

for me to stay on the MTX and just stay inside! Not gonna' happen!You

guys all know that feeling good and doing the things we love are what

keep us going! I'm just learning about Enbrel and will try that if I

can. Today has been a really bad day for me - that's why I've joined

this group at my partners suggestion. Any suggestions on finding a

good Rhuemy? My last couple have been horrors. One gave me a Cort

shot and told me I was too young to have Arthritis, ended up having 2

operations to replace my tendon sheaths in my feet and ankles.
