Guest guest
Hello, I'm have some minor out patient surgery scheduled for Friday so I had to stop all my medications. I took my last NSAID on Saturday night and then skipped my dose of MTX on Sunday. I wasn't any worse than normal on Sunday but by late Sunday night and into Monday morning it really hit hard. Today I can hardly walk, I can't even unlock my front door because I can't turn the key. I've been on NSAID's for over a year. Now I'm really afraid that they have masked the progression of the PA. I have only taken the MTX for 3 weeks so I'm yet to see anything there. I just wonder how much permanent damage has been done. I go to my RA in the morning and I will ask for something for the pain and possibly see about a handicap permit to use when I need it (like now). My wife has been after me to get the handicap permit for awhile now, but I haven't been able to make myself ask for one. Maybe its time. I hope I can go back on my med's as right after the surgery. Boy, I read back through this and it sound really depressing. I need to think of a joke or something.... can't think of any right now so I'll cut this off. Shayne Dayton, Oh.
