School/Play Dates/Social SKills

Hello everyone,

I have a 8yr.old with High Functioning Autism, diagnosed at 2.5. We've come a

long way but now Im dealing with some school issues. Im just not happy with the

progress or lack there of that Ive seen in him attending Bunche Park Elem in

Miami Gatrdens. We take him to Hunnington Learning center just to get some

extra tutoring. I qualified for the Mckay and am now aware that I am able to

place him in any public schoo? However I need direction and advice on any

school any one may know about that has a good program for kids with HFA. PLEASE

HELP.

Also im interested in setting up some play dates with other kids with HFA and

would like to know if anyone is aware of any programs in the Miami area that has

SocialSkills goups.
