Guest guest
I am starting to teach an art class geared towards material exploration rather than a set project model to complete. I am introducing a different medium each week and getting each child to get as hands on with each as possible. Modifications will be made for those that are sensory-defensive (gloves, brushes, etc.) As a parent of an aspie I know what I would expect, but I want to hear what others would like to see as well. Do you want to be able to see the creation, even if only swirls of paint on paper not meant to resemble anything? How comfortable would you be with your child to be 'pushed' into the next level of sensory integration? What would you expect your child to gain from a 10 week 1 hour course? Thanks for any and all input in advance! Angelique
