Guest guest
Hello. I've been using A-palmitate (10K IUs) per day for some time now. I am also using digestive enzymes with meals now. Since adding my digestive enzyme and A-palmitate (at roughly the same time), I've been experiencing shingles-like rash most prominently in my right upper/inner arm, arm-pit, and right trunk area. I'm also experiencing shingles like itchy bug-bite like bumps on other parts of my body as well, including around my right wrist, my legs, abdominal area, and chest. The itchiness and rash/inflammation is certainly most prominent in my right arm-pit, upper arm, and trunk area (consistent with a previous shingles reactivation I experienced). I am wondering whether my symptoms are related to viral die-off, or lowered immunity to suppress the shingles virus and it is simply being reactivated. I've had the rash/shingles related symptoms for about 2 months now since adding in my enzymes and vitamin A. I've been trying to convince myself that it is not vitamin A toxicity rash due to the location and prominence of the rash in the typical shingles area for me. I've been justifying that the vitamin A has anti-viral effects and is potentiating my immune system to help fight against the virus, and thus the 'die-off' rash has formed. Same for the enzymes causing viral die-off. Can someone help me understand what might be going on here? Thank-you very much.
Guest guest
Sometimes Vitamin A supplementation can throw off your Vitamin D levels. Try exposing the rash to the sun and see if that helps. > > Hello. > > I've been using A-palmitate (10K IUs) per day for some time now. I am > also using digestive enzymes with meals now. If in fact it is related to shingles, try taking lysine. Shingles is a herpes virus, and lysine eliminates herpes. Be prepared for it to get worse before it gets better. When I did lysine therapy on my kids, I pulled herpes virus out of their brains. The virus caused " typical virus symptoms " on its way out, so the physical manifestations got worse for a while, then got better, and were finally eliminated. Herpes die off causes yeast overgrowth, so watch out for that. > I am wondering whether my symptoms are related to viral die-off, or > lowered immunity to suppress the shingles virus and it is simply being > reactivated. My guess is that the supps you are taking now, are helping your body to try to get rid of it, but it needs more help. > I've been trying to convince myself that it is not vitamin A toxicity > rash due to the location and prominence of the rash in the typical > shingles area for me. At my house, vitamin A toxicity rash was like sandpaper on top of the skin, very thick skin, dry, red, and very itchy. If you think it might be this, try eliminating that supp for a week.
