Guest guest
Hi again. After going over the lab results, I now have my son on some new stuff, hopefully will see good reactions, but not sure if dosing is enough or what to really look for. please let me know if I should be not doing some of these things in the combinations that I am doing them in. Here's the data: we are giving 2x daily 1 capsule of culturelle, which I think is lactobacillus rhamnosus. Also 2x daily 1 capsule of s. boulardii. Mixed in with that is Twinlab Yeast Fighters, which includes biotin and paud'arco and other yeast fighters. We mix that in with the Twinlab MCT oil, 2 TBS or more, some pure mango puree and a dollop of yogurt. We sometimes add some liquid vitamin C to this too. He is willing to drink it without the yogurt too. Is it okay that he gets the probiotics at the same time as the yeast fighters? is it okay that it is mixed in with the mango puree and MCT and yogurt? The s. boulardii does not mix up like the sedona labs probiotics does. I could not get him to take the biotin tablets, even though they are small and we tried the oralflo cup. So the only biotin he is getting is through the TL yeast fighters. The good news is he likes the taste of the MCT and the liq. Vit. C. The bad news is he won't touch the schiff buffered Vit. C that I have a full bottle of. His behaviors at home and school, since starting on the sedona labs probiotic, has been less attentive and more tantrums, crying fits, at home, since we started. We did give him activated charcoal, one capsule, two times so far on different days. I am not sure if it helped or not. It was after he was just losing it at home. We mixed it with a splash of OJ. We have not done feingold or salicilate free. We do watch for BHT and other additives and colors though. Any ideas on whether I am giving him enough supps and when I may see a beneficial difference in his behavior and attention? Thanks for your support. I still can try the GSE and I am sure there is much more.
