Guest guest
I would also recommend HNI enzymes...you can call or email the company and they are great at helping get started and answering questions as you go along. i have not used the new tri product. we use powder so I mix the three together myself. we use chewables outside the house. b4 starting enzymes I removed ALL artifical colors and flavors, preservatives, and HF corn syrup. It made a huge difference, esp in his speech. i continue to have htem removed...several months into biomed we discovered our son has a corn intolerance, so we have eliminated all corn sources also. the enzymes did not seem to help wiht corn and i also heard that from others. i have introduced some organic corn products with enzymes without reaction. so i think it is likely the processing not the actual corn. I also try to use primarily organic products. Annie's and Back to Nature brands can be found at Walmart and the grocery store now and they make many alternatives to the junk out there today. one other thing i removed was annetto (sp) that is a spice used to color many cheeses. it is natural but some people do not tolerate it. i found I did not either and it is a source of my migraines. a reaction to a blue lollipop is a good sign the artifical junk is affecting him. there are some great alternatives out there, yes, organic lollipops and sundrops (m & m;s), My kids are only starting to discover their candy is not what others have for candy. we even call fruit leather " fruit candy " - his OT a couple years ago did that when she introduced it for us. I could not control what was going to happen at school during snack or lunch time. When I found that HNI had enzymes that could replace the diet I started right away. I am VERY happy with the results. Not only do I feel they are working, but it's one less thing for me not to worry if something has trace amounts of gluten or casein in it ( and believe me, I have alot of other things to worry about)My son tolerates enzymes and supps well, so he's flourished on them. Just a side note: I got rid of anything with artificial flavors and colors regardless. They are made from chemicals and petroleum and don'thave a place in a child's diet whether autistic or not. I try to be as organic as possible as well. You are going to have to give it time to experiment and see results with enzymes, but please consider removing artificial stuff altogether. It's really bad stuff! > > > > > > Enzyme Recomendation - Please advise > > > > HI all.
