Guest guest
Hi All- I have been racking my brain and going crazy trying to figure out if my seven year old's sudden motor tics are a sign of yeast or die off. We are almost three months into transdermal LDN. That is the newest addition to my son's exiting protocol. The only other new addition is a rotation in anti-fungal treatment and probiotics. Our DAN doc suggested we try Kirkman's Yeast Aid. I am wondering if this could be the culprit. When I doubled the dose from 2 to 4 caps along with Nizoral or Nystatin the motor tic began (stretches neck up and then tucks chin into chest as well as clucking and some throat clearing). I immediately brought the dose back down to 2 caps but the tics are still present. In the past, when we had yeast issues we did not see motor tics. His ASO titers were done last month and they were in normal range so I don't think we are dealing with strep (although he showed 4+ for two different forms of gut strep on his comprehensive stool test two months ago) Could their be something in the Yeast Aid that he is responding negatively to or could it be the right combination that we are seeing die off? Die off in the past usually took on the form of aggression and irritability but never tics. I am so confused and it is driving me crazy. Any thoughts or suggestions would be a tremendous help. YEAST AID (4 caps = serving) OLE 200 mg Pau D'Arco 220 mg Goldenseal 100 mg Caprylic Acid 100 mg Cranberry Extract 25 mg Oregano 100 mg Thanks, Dayna
