- Double check on that - I have Aetna as well and they cover Vioxx for

me which makes me think they will cover Celebrex. The thing is though, you

must have pre-approval or pre-authorization for Vioxx (and probably Celebrex)

- your doctor's office must do this. Check with them and call the Aetna

customer service/member benefits 800 number on the back of your card. I'll

bet you can get it paid for.

Hi ,

I have been on Arthrotec for about a year now. I could not tolerate

Celebrex (major GI problems). I have found that for me it does not

work as well as the Celebrex, but I have not had side effects. The

rheumatologist just switched me to Vioxx to see if it will work
