Guest guest
Arthur, In my opinion, I would wait on starting those anxiety meds. I had pretty bad anxiety that went away with thyroid meds after a while (a few months). I felt like jumping out of my skin most of the time. So, wait a few weeks (I know it's hard) and get a full thyroid workup (T3, T4, etc.) and maybe a hormonal/adrenal workup (testosterone, estrogen, progesterone, DHEA, cortisol, etc). Rule that stuff out before you start going on tons of meds. Just my opinion. Good luck and let us know how you make out. _________________________________________________________________ Join the world’s largest e-mail service with MSN Hotmail. http://www.hotmail.com
Guest guest
Hi Sara, Just a short note to say that it's always fun to read from someone who has suffered from candida and had no clue what was wrong but discovered a cure and now feels like a new life is available. I suffered 10 years before finding a cure and still can't believe it. good luck, steve
Guest guest
Hi Sara, Thanks for the post. Just wondering if you, or maybe your husband, are the same " living_pain_free " , aka Flute, from this page http://www.migrainepage.com/dcforum/discussion/1180.html Don't take offence, but based on your email address (the living_pain_free part) I can't help to be a little suspicious that you have intentions of pushing a product. If this is not the case, please accept my apology! Regards, ita > > Greeting to all, > > My name is Sara and I am brand new here. I am so very glad to have > found this community. Guest guest
No ita, that's not me, although I was once a migraine sufferer. I'm not trying to sell anything. I guess I better just change my email address, my self-affirmation seems to have been miscontrued. Sara satellitesab@... (maybe that one will be less problematic) P.S. Thanks for the welcome Steve. > > > > Greeting to all, > > > > My name is Sara and I am brand new here. I am so very glad to have > > found this community. Guest guest
Steve, What method did you use to get your cure? What type of manifestations had you had of it? Did it take long to get cured? Was it expensive? I had a rash in my groin, and a lesion on my penis that I thought could be cancerous, and I saw my family doctor, and he prescribed a creme that gave me die-off to the point that I wound up in the ER, but I guess as the yeast was killed, I was able to use the creme, and then another, stronger creme, and now the rash, and lesion are gone. I experimented with diet, and did see that low-carb/suger helped. I did research, and see symptoms, and experiences I had going back a long way now seem to make sense. I just called my doctor, and made an appointment for tomorrow, to ask him about checking me, and treating me for systemic candida. I'm glad to hear you were cured, and that whatever long-standing problems you had were banished. I'm excited to get started getting rid of my own infestation. I've felt amazingly better, just with the skin problems I had going away, not just relief that it wasn't cancer, but emotionally happier, and more at ease. Best wishes, -- In candidiasis , " smkahoo " < ote: > > Hi Sara, > > Just a short note to say that it's always fun to read from someone who > has suffered from candida and had no clue what was wrong but > discovered a cure and now feels like a new life is available. Guest guest
Sorry if I offended Sara, just had to ask due to previous experiences. No need to change your email address! It really is great to hear about your success, do you still have any problems with candida or are you completely clear of it? You sound like a very positive person and I think that has helped you a lot. The emotional/mental link to recovery from illness interests me a lot. For as long as I can remember I've been a somewhat depressed person and I believe that has contributed a lot to my current state of health. ita > > No ita, that's not me, although I was once a migraine sufferer. > I'm not trying to sell anything. Guest guest
Morning It could be that your depression was caused by your ill health. My husband used to suffer really badly from anxiety and depression, but since he is eating properly and taking his supplements, he is hardly ever depressed. The minute he eats something that upsets his digestion, he gets anxious and depressed again. Keen Re: Hello from new member Sorry if I offended Sara, just had to ask due to previous experiences. Guest guest
" The minute he eats something that upsets his digestion, he gets anxious and depressed again. " I find that this is true for me, too, especially if I eat gluten. If I am feeling down one day, I can usually trace it to something questionable that I ate the previous day, like soy sauce that may contain wheat, etc. If I have a substantial amount, I know within a couple hours, because my stomach gets really upset. The mood changes last a couple days following it. -Olif
Guest guest
My name in Kristal, and my son was just today diagnosed with Aspergers at 10 years old. He is currently homeschooled, because the public school system just didn't work for us. I have my Masters in Education and was teaching when we decided to homeschool. Now the psychologist is saying that he needs school for social skills and I'm going to try to find an autistic school here near us, as the public school system here does not offer services besides consulation. Looking forward to getting to knowing everyone. I cried today when I read the report because the psyc was so harsh with her wording. She described me as overlaborative and magnifying pathology because I was pessimistic and feels helpless and unable to deal with my son's problems. I referred him for the testing, because I've known since he was 2.5 something was wrong. I am relieved to have the diagnosis, although my spirit was crushed at the words she used to describe me, as it makes me just feel horrible (again for the millionth time in socieity) Hugs, Kristal
