To all:Is there anyone out there besides me that is very much wanting to attend the June 3rd meeting in Detroit, Michigan for the federal proposed mold bill by Con. Conyers that is running into the dilemma of needing to take children when they cannot accommodate for children? I very much want to attend this meeting but need to have my children with me as my 6 yr. old son has been having neurological problems and I hesitate to leave without him. Although, I realize these problems will be there whether home or gone so I would like to just go to this important meeting and take the kids along. A big part of the reason I so desperately want to attend is because Mark Tatum of Maceo, KY (the man whose face was eaten by flesh-eating mucor...mucormycosis) wants to go and speak in support of this bill. He knows who better to speak on this issue than someone who lost most of their face to a toxic mold (fungal infection). He knows what an impact he can make as his condition can be seen. He now wears a prosthetic face. I feel it is of the utmost importance for this man to show up at the meeting. Any chance there are others out there hoping to attend that cannot attend without children? Maybe we could share childcare responsibilities or come up with a way..... Anyone with any ideas please contact me ASAP directly at this e-mail. Actually, I'd also like to hear from those just planning to attend in general. If this e-mail becomes full and gets returned please then use weik005@... Thanks so much!Beverly Weikert
