Guest guest
Hello Everyone, I have a six year old that started to hit his resource aid at school (fully inclusion class). The circumstances are usually around something he doesn't want to do. I have spoken with my son about this and taken things away (toys). He is very rigid in his thinking but he knows better than to hit. He does not hit at home. We just got an IEP and he has speech, is taken for certain assignments and is about to start working with the school psychologist. What methods have you used to get through to your child that has hitting behavior at school? Any suggestions are appreciated.
