Guest guest
Hello, We have a 5 year old child with Autism and a so far NT 2 year old son. Every morning, my husband drops my son with Autism in school and then goes to work. My son with Autism, has sleeping and waking up problems in the morning and takes forever to drink his milk (he doesn't eat breakfast), do potty and dress up and thus no matter how early we wake up, we are late every single day. So by the time my husband reaches office, its 10am. He is having problems at work as the manager wants him to be in office by 8am and its impossible unless I drop my both children which will be a very stressful situation for me and the kids as they both have different drop off timings at different locations. My husband is also having problems in getting to work from home ( as agreed by his previous manager, verbally, two days per week). We were thinking of getting a medical necessity letter from our pediatrician, indicating the necessity of flexibility to be offered to my husband in work timings and work from home options, due to medical condition of my son. So we were wondering if any of you were in similar situation or would offer us any suggestions in getting any sort of letter that would give us flexibility at work. Thank you Krishna
