Guest guest
I have never written anything about my son I always just read, (never enough time) but you can have our website. My son has a very complex medical background, he is 3 (and friends with caroline) he is systemic, has arnold Chairi malformation, severe gerd, had malrotation surgery when he was 5 mo old, has asthma, chronic gastritis, anemia, has a g-tube, and is on perscription formula. ok do you see why i never write. he has been on every drug almost and will start remicade on the 21st, we live in MN and his rhum is Dr. Warshawsky, that is a very quick picture of our life, Louise bncknwurnumber@... wrote:These are the websites that I have collected so far wtih the childs ages and dx's. Guest guest
Hi, , Life has been incredibly busy and crazy, and I get the JRA list in digest form, and sometimes only have a chance to skim through. But I happened to see this e-mail from you. I have some pages for my daughter, ; and I also recently created a blog, so that it would be easy to pass along updates to family and friends who are always inquiring. So 's JRA Page is: http://www.geocities.com/tlzeigler/sJRA.html and the recently updated blog is: http://sjra.blogspot.com is 8 years old, was pauci-articular at diagnosis, and battles a mild case of uveitis. I do have some of your collected webpages as links on 's JRA Page (actually, there's a link to " personal stories about JRA web pages " , and that's where I have them), and I have printed out the " webpages " emails, and will add the ones I don't have at a later date. Guest guest
Hi Kathy! I missed you this summer at the Adk Museum and at this group's gathering. My first web store was at http://www.wahmshoppes.com/ It was simple, easy to use and maintain, and fairly reasonably priced. I wanted a store not just an informational site. I wanted to be able to update it myself and not have to wait for someone else. I needed it to be low cost. I recommend them - or at least would have when I was there a few years ago. I would hope that they are as good as they were then. It was incredibly easy to get started. I am now at Hostgator where I pay less but I need to learn/do a great deal more myself (my designer fell off the face of the earth, it seems). I like the features of the Zen Cart and I can maintain/update the product catalog myself. I like the customer, billing, and shipping modules. I highly recommend Hostgator for uptime and customer service. They have a lot of website building information on their site. http://www.hostgator.com/tutorials.shtml That's my experience in a nutshell. I've learned that each of us has a different tale to tell. Good luck and let us see your site when it's up! ---- Original Message ----- From: kbrennan1969 Sent: Sunday, January 24, 2010 3:23 PM Subject: websites Hello ladies...I'd like to start a website and would like some tips and pointers since I am a computer idiot. What have you found that you like or dislike, web designers you like or dislike, etc. Also, do you think it is worth having the ability for people to buy online, or just to be able to view your product and download an order form to mail? Guest guest
Hi Kathy, I use godaddy.com. You can get as little or as much as you want from them. As far as a shopping cart, you can try it for a year to see how it goes. Handing out the business cards with the info to shop on line with each order may help. Good luck kbrennan1969 wrote: > > > Hello ladies...I'd like to start a website and would like some tips > and pointers since I am a computer idiot. Guest guest
Hi Kathy I use register.com I also have my domain name registered there as well. I like the template format and I use the paypal feature. It does take time but you can be as creative you want for a $15.00 a month. It probably will be about $20.00 a month when I add the SSL and an email addy. Their customer service is great as well!. Good luck!! Guest guest
well i will tell you from a customers point of view that If i go to a website but can not buy from it I get very frustrate and I will move on to someone who I can place an order with right then and there. As matter of fact my brother wanted some model house plans for his G guage rail road cars. HE told me what website to go to. I did and found them but couldn't place an order you had to either email the guy with the info or call him. It was too much work, I did not feel like going through the hassel so I opted out and let my father get him the plans for christmas instead of me. but that is my on views maybe some feel safer doing it over the phone, or through email I dont. > > > > > > Hello ladies...I'd like to start a website and would like some tips > > and pointers since I am a computer idiot. Guest guest
same here. as a customer, if I go to a website that I can't order directly from, I leave and look for another website with a similar product. I don't want to bother anyone, I just want to order my stuff in a click or two and be done with it. Paypal's a pretty safe option for websites so people don't have to give their credit card info to the vendor.
