Guest guest
In addition, bottle says 1-3 caps for adults prday-which doesn't help me much as to what a child of 50 pounds should have. The caps have the powder and plan to recompound them into empty caps this weekend. I am wondering exactly how to divide this up since it's not liquid like most people use. If I put the one cap into 5-each less than 100 mg would that be a good amount to start with and how much would you guess I would give him each day. Sorry I know probably most of you can't answer this, but thought someone out there might have aclue. i've never used an anti-viral before, but i think my grandson is a very viral kid. thanks to anyone that can offer me any info. maurine Blab-away for as little as 1¢/min. Guest guest
Hi, That was me. Look closely at the label. Even though it says one serving equals one capsule, in small print it says " amount per two capsules. " Each capsule is actually 250 mg. When I moved my son (130 lbs.) up to 3 capsules a day, it made a big difference. He takes them at breakfast, at 4:30 pm, and at bedtime. B. > > someone recently wrote in about the GAIA brand of OLE capsules. That is what I have been taking. I have only been doing the recommended adult dosage which is 1 (500mg) capsule 2x a day. does this sound right or should I up this to 3 capsules a day? > Beth >

At first, I gave it one winter as preventive. When I tried to remove it that spring, my kids had major regression. They ended up on OLE for over 2 years. Also Virastop. Then I removed the OLE and kept the vitamin C and lysine. > He is VERY difficult to get any supps into. Any ideas on that > appreciate as well. Guest guest
Hello, This is where I do my shopping. http://www.iherb.com/ProductDetails.aspx?c=1 & pid=749 & at=0 If you are having a hard time getting answers off this list you might want to wait to post questions when the list is very active like at 8 am or a 5 pm. If your question is out there when many people are reviewing the posts of the day- you will probably get more answers. I see you also asked about how to divided out supplements If your DMSA was 50 mg you would open the capsule and divide it in to 12 different piles. I like to store the supplement in portion controls cup that salad dressing comes in when you ask for your dressing on the side. My 2 cents Ann > > Does anyone know where I can get liquid OLE? >
Guest guest
I am encapsulating olive leaf powder and taking 4 capsules a day. Don't know IF they are doing any good or not. But I bought a pound a year and a half ago and figure I will use it up, now that I am not on Andro and Cats Claw. Guest guest
Yes, if you have a viral kid. OLE is anti-viral, and viral die-off tends to increase yeast. Madhuri > > Hello i was wondering does OLE flairs up yeast? > thanks >
Guest guest
> > Hello i was wondering does OLE flairs up yeast? OLE addresses viruses, and viral die off tends to increase yeast, so OLE does tend to increase yeast. Dana

I started with 250mg per day and worked up from there. It eliminated strep at my house, plus many viruses and a few other bacteria. I have also used it to prevent colds/flu. While it eliminates viruses, it can tend to increase yeast, because viral die off tends to increase yeast. Dana

Guest guest
Dana,  Would you mind listing some of  the places where you have bought things that have worked for you?  I looked for Biotin at our local health food store. The smallest amount available was 5000mcg. Close to impossible to divide down to 500 or even 1000 mcg. accurately.  Thanks.
