Guest guest
We have been doing GAPS 5 months now. Both kids are dramatically improved. I have a question about our 6 year old. She acts and feels fine, but she often fills the potty with poop, enough to cover all of the water in the toilet and way more than I ever produce in one sitting (not to be too graphic). It is often light tan and half floaty, half sinky, and somewhat stinky. I don't see her poop every time she goes, so the huge volume is probably not each day, but at least a few times a week. I tried her on a week of HCL, but had trouble because she couldn't swallow the huge pills and I worried about the enamel on her teeth if I broke open the capsule. In the week she was on it, I didn't notice any change in her poop. She still is on biokult, eats plenty of yogurt and kefir. I can't correlate the poop with anything in her diet. Any ideas?
