Leaks and other interior problems that resulted in the risk of mold forced the closure of Folsom's Fire Station 37, located at Blue Ravine and Prairie City Road, Dutton said. " We are concerned about the health and safety of our employees. The standard protocol in such situations is to evacuate a building and we have done this, " he said. Dutton said the station has been scheduled for eventual closure for reasons unrelated to environmental issues and that a new station will open in May in the Broadstone area on sville Road. Experts are examining the building, but the closure of the station will not affect the Fire Department's response times, Dutton said.
