Commital proceedings at the Supermarket

Hi All

Would you believe that I spent half the night walking around the

supermarket, for some peace and quiet?

I was exhausted after my long journey last night so was looking forward to

TODAY in bed! The telephone rang at 10am, waking me with a fright, fearing

the worst! Well I did not sleep too well, expecting the telephone to ring,

informing me to rush to the hospital. So when it did ring, I thought the

worst!

It was my cousin wanting to know if I had seen his Mom, wife to the man in

hospital, my Uncle Stan! No she had not left home at this time, so I told

him.

Mom spent the day on the telephone, then announced at 6pm tonight that I, my

PA, Lupus, Raynauds, Fibro, High Cholesterol, benign blood problem AND

calcified shoulder, are cooking a meal for six adults and two kids,

tomorrow! I checked the larder, just had enough for two adults, so wrote out

my list. Then the telephone rang, my other cousin and her kids were arriving

in about ten minutes.

With that I took my list, sat it in the passenger seat of the car, climbed

in alongside and we went to the supermarket! Now one can only push the

shopping trolley around for sooooo long, before one becomes conspicuous. I

agree I could put the items back on the shelf and start again, akin to a

supermarket dash, but I was wasting time. The Security Officer approached

and I said, " Is it possible for me to be committed to Killarney on my way

out? " Killarney being our asylum. " Failing that, do you sell bottles of

Valium? "

Love and God Bless

Gillian
