Guest guest
There are several very good attys in LA and several really bad ones. I work with Browne, Janofsky, Bright, Gordon, ( about 10 lawyers ) who are all outstanding toxic tort attorneys, but they take very few cases and usually by referral from someone they know and trust who has evaluated your case and recommends that they actually examine your case to determine if they will take it. ( However, there is no shortage of lawyers in LA who will take a case, any case, as long as they get a few $$$ in advance.....and then silence.) So be very careful. A good atty must determine if your case has merit and a deep pocket and causation and liability. I am not an atty, but after several thousand cases in 28 years nationwide, and being married to an atty and law professor, I have a good idea how they operate. A good atty is like a good quarterback....they make all the difference in the world. Dr. L.
